NaNoWriMo: Day One

Whether you stayed up to write the first word at midnight, rose early to get a good crack at it, or are going to slip away this evening to delve in to your new novel, I wish you the best of luck and don’t give up! Keep working, unleash your creative side, and have fun. 🤓

How many words did you accomplish today? Did you find it fun or frustrating? How do you combat frustration so you can keep pressing on?

  1. Day one. check. 3260 words by the end of the day. I wrote in the am, then late. Started off enthusiastically, but then I tried to organize too much. I put down framework for my ideas, chapters, timelines. Now day 2 and I don’t like what I started much anymore. I turned my fun experience into work. Again. So today, I will just pick up where I left off, not read anything I already wrote and close my eyes and type. (I actually work better that way!) Good luck today Mindy!
