Thoughts: This is worth the read. Dr. Davis is a cardiologist and his book is full of insights and research. I’ve been wary of wheat for years, and reading this book confirmed things I had already known and taught me new things along the way. The discussion of ‘diets’ can lead to some heated conversations, but Dr. Davis presents a case that doesn’t leave much to argue about concerning the role of wheat in our lives. Even if you don’t struggle with weight, or seem to have an intolerance to wheat, I would still recommend picking up this book. Health is more than just the battle of the visible bulge.
