Monday Musings: No-Sweets/No-Wheat Update and Internet Break

It wasn’t as easy as I had hoped.

But I didn’t do as bad as one might think for it being the holidays. I had a little bit of bread when I enjoyed some stuffing, but I didn’t overindulge. No rolls or anything of the like. So that was good.

Staying away from the sweets was much easier. Though I must confess, I’ve had a few small sips of eggnog over the last week. Outside of that, I’ve done well. At this point my brain is fairly screaming at me to go to a coffee shop, but I’ve resisted.

I am going to attempt to keep it going through December. I’ve felt better, slept better, have clearer thinking, and personally, those are all things I enjoy. 🙂

Speaking of December: next month I am taking a break from the internet. With Christmas around the corner, getting ready for a baby, a promise I made to a friend, and other things, I’ve decided it would be a good time to step away from videos, web surfing, etc. and focus on family and friends. I’ll post this week like normal and then be back in January.
